Celene Chan, President
Vice President, Anglemont Financial
Celene analyses investment decisions and makes asset allocation decisions on behalf of a charitable trust and its subsidiaries. Prior to joining Anglemont, Celene worked at the Bank of Canada as a Research Assistant in the Financial Markets Department, and at Central 1 Credit Union as a Risk Analyst. Celene obtained a Master’s degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University, and a Honours degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia. She is a CFA charter holder.

Calista Cheung, Vice President
Regional Director (Economics), Bank of Canada
Calista represents the Bank of Canada in BC and the Yukon, and directs research and analysis on economic and financial developments in the region. She first joined the Bank in 2003 as an economist, and also worked at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris from 2009 to 2014 in the Economics Department. Her areas of work have included macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, business surveys, international trade, external imbalances, emerging Asia, housing markets, labour markets, and commodity prices.

Sylvie Lefebvre, B.C., M.B.C., Certified Management Consultant (C.M.C.) is a specialist in Social and Economic Assessments (SEAs), socio-community assessments (SCAs) and multiple accounts evaluations. A graduate of UBC, Sylvie has over 30 years of consulting experience, including over 20 years as principal of Pierce Lefebvre Consulting, 10 years with Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and two years with a smaller firm. Since 2010, Sylvie has been a Director, and Treasurer, of the Association of Professional Economists of BC.

David Williams, Director
Senior Economist, Bank of Canada
David is a researcher focusing on applied macroeconomics, consumption, house prices and credit markets. He also conducts the Bank’s Business Outlook Survey in British Columbia and Yukon. David previously worked as a lecturer at Oxford, a researcher at the IMF, a senior economic policy adviser at the Australian Prime Minister’s Department, and as a policy analyst at the Reserve Bank of Australia. David holds a D.Phil. (Ph.D.) in economics from Oxford University.
