"Blockchain Technology – Benefits and Risks"

Join us as APEBC presents Wade McMahon and his work on the issues surrounding blockchain technology. Following the luncheon will be the presentation of the Crystal Ball Award and the AGM (both are optional, but strongly encouraged for APEBC members).

The Distributed Ledger (Blockchain) is often considered a revolutionary technology to greatly improve efficiency and resilience of payment, clearing and settlement in banking and capital markets. What issues require resolution before this technology can be deployed on a large scale? Wade McMahon will walk us through the operational, governance, legal and other issues which need to be addressed.
